I was an indecisive bride! A nightmare for retailers to deal with... I had no idea what I wanted. Jess was so very patient and kind with me talking me through the design conception process and listening intently to my likes and dislikes. In the end, I relinquished all creative design responsibility to Jess and wanted a surprise! (This was a challenge for the control freak within me!)
Jess did nothing more than amaze myself, fiancée and my guests of her creativity, artistic flair and her absolutely delicious creation. In fact, we did not want to cut the engagement cake as it would ruin it! We were so happy we did, the cake was so fabulous that we didn't have any left overs - guests kept coming back for seconds and thirds!
Without hesitation, we booked Jess for our wedding cake! After the success with our engagement cake, I gave her full control over the cake - I just wanted chocolate, the only stipulation was chocolate - She took notes on everything to do with the wedding and went off to create a memorable cake for us.
We did not see the wedding cake until we entered the reception which as filled with our guests, my amazement was captured on our wedding DVD - I didn't think she could top our engagement cake but once again, she outdid herself. Truly breathtaking, our guests all commented on the beauty of the cake and how it captured the theme of the wedding. We once again had hardly any cake left over, which was a shame was it was delicious!
Without hesitation I would HIGHLY recommend Jess from Chocolate Artisan, her kindness, creativity and understanding are just some of her many attribute's which make her business truly outstanding. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with Jess and I hope to celebrate many more of life's special occasions with a chocolate Artisan cake!
