Turkish Delight



500g Sugar
60g Honey
340ml Water
30g Gelatine leaf  

20g Rose water or Peppermint oil to taste
Red & green food colour as desired

100g corn flour


  1. Soak gelatine in 50% of the water and set aside.

  2. Boil the other 50% of the water with the sugar and honey to 118c (soft ball).

  3. Pour onto the gelatine mixture, add flavour

    and colour as required.

  4. Can store in fridge or out, allow 6-8 hours ideally & coat with cornflour. Cut in desired shapes and roll in corn flour to stop it sticking back together again. Keep in an airtight container.
